Royal Clarence Yard

Royal Clarence YardThe site of the former Royal Clarence Yard, this 41 acre, mixed use scheme, is being developed by Berkeley Homes.  With a waterfront location on Portsmouth Harbour, the development is centred on a 130 berth marina and includes approximately 700 homes and a range of commercial premises.

A multi-million pound development scheme, the site is close to Gosport town centre, the Gosport Ferry terminus and the Bus Interchange.  A waterbus also operates from the site during peak hours, providing fast and easy connection to the national rail network and direct lines to London.

The site is home to a number of prestigious listed buildings, some of which have already been refurbished and converted into workshop and office space.  Sir Robin Knox-Johnstone’s Clipper Ventures has located its headquarters on the site, with a number of other flagship marine companies also in residence.

There are now opportunities within the historic Grade II* listed Granary and Bakery buildings, located adjacent to the marina and ideally suited for those looking for a prestigious office location and/or bar and restaurant operators.  Units are available between 1,600 sq ft and 6,680 sq ft.  Further opportunities are expected to arise as areas of new build are complete.
