Revenue & Customs
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) provides a comprehensive online service for individuals, employees, employers and businesses. They also have Advice Teams who can advise on tax responsibilities and who run workshops and presentations across the country.
The services of the Advice Teams are free of charge and particularly suitable for new businesses or employers. The workshop programme covers a large number of topic areas, including: Self assessment for the self-employed; setting up a Limited Company; Statutory Payments and submitting Year End Returns. Each workshop lasts for about half a day and presentations are typically for two hours.
