With 265 metres of waterfront and spectacular views across Portsmouth Harbour, this historic site is located within a Conservation Area.  Surrounded by Ramparts, Priddy's Hard connects to neighbouring Royal Clarence Marina and the town centre by the Forton Lifting Bridge.  The site is also the location for the 'Explosion' Museum of Naval Firepower.

The site has been allocated as a mixed-used development scheme. It is expected that the site will be developed to provide a range of leisure, residential and business uses.
 
Location/access
 
The site is located at one end of the Millennium Promenade, which runs along the waterfront and connects the site with the Gosport Ferry, Town Centre and Royal Naval Submarine Museum. Access by cyclists and pedestrians over the bridge is complemented by a new road link that connects the site to the A32, just two miles from Gosport town centre and five miles from Junction 11 of the M27.
