Economic Prosperity
The Council's Economic Prosperity Unit works with local businesses and a wide range of community and business support organisations to encourage and retain investment in the Gosport economy.
The Unit aims to:
- support initiatives designed to create prosperity and local jobs
- ensure that support is available to those wishing to establish or grow their business
- provide opportunities for workers and residents to develop the skills necessary for them to play an active part in the economy
Further information on Economic Prosperity initiatives is provided throughout this website, with updates and new proposals also discussed at meetings of the Business Forum and communicated through the Council's quarterly Business Information newsletter (please see below).
