Business Forum
Quarterly meetings of the Gosport Business Forum provide an invaluable opportunity for businesses to express their views and contribute to the work of the Council; as well as providing an excellent networking opportunity.
Forum meetings are open to all businesses and typically held on Mondays between 6.00-8.00 pm (with light refreshments and networking from 5.00 pm).
At the last business forum, over 50 delegates packed the Conference Room at the Explosion Museum in Gosport to hear leading “Social networking” speaker Tony Treacy. The event, held on Monday 6th July was designed to help local firms use different media to promote their products and services.
Tony provided an overview of “Social networking sites” such as FACEBOOK and MYSPACE and gave some useful tips to delegates as to how they can get the best out free marketing tools like Twitter. The event also provided an opportunity for informal networking amongst local firms.
