Use Social networking for business - Tony Treacy shows you how!
14/07/2009
His seminars give an in-depth understanding of what is needed to get business online and explains what free Internet resources are available, how to use them and how to create a sustainable e-business for the long term.
"The Internet will be the saviour of many small businesses during these tight economic times. When used properly, it can drive targeted traffic to a site at absolutely no cost. It has brought the cost of marketing down to zero levels for all - to drive traffic, develop leads and to sell directly off the web page.
With Web 2.0 - sites that are interactive rather than static - business owners can now engage with their market by using blogs, forums and help desks.
Social bookmarking enables a site to be recomended by a visitor to friends and colleagues which contributes to that site's position in the search engines.
Social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook help create a buzz about a website and generate both interest and targeted traffic. And all are free to set up and use.
If you have your own business and have a web presence that is not working for you, then its time to re-think your approach to the Internet. Blogs are free. You will have change out of £50 for hosting and a URL for a year in the UK."
