New interest in Mabway's facilities
30/03/2010
The Marine arm of Mabway Ltd recently established in Gosport (at Aerodrome road off of the Gosport Road) received visits from the charity Shield hall, the Royal Yacht Association, Wilhelmsen and Marine Resources in February. The visit coincided with the running of one of its twice monthly Power Management courses known as EPGAM for short.
EPGAM stands for Electrical Power Generation & Management. The Electrical Power Management Courses have been developed in response to the Marine & Power Industries needs in keeping power losses to a minimum and giving access to realistic simulator training on a variety of vessel types to minimise equipment damage.
Mabway’s 4 Day EPGAM course aims to give students all of the understanding needed on modern day Power Management Systems found on many vessels & power plants.
All of the rest of Mabway’s Training facilities were also viewed where a range of both Diesel & Electrical courses are run. Mabway has established high class facilities for students to use during Training and were very keen to show these off. All visitors are welcome to view these facilities and to discuss their training needs with experienced staff & Instructors
At the end of a very interesting and successful day, the visitors were extremely impressed by both Mabway’s Training & facilities, with John Everett stating that they were” the best Training facilities he had viewed since leaving the British Merchant Navy twenty five years ago”.
Anyone interested in any training or the courses delivered by Mabway should contact
Keith Austin, Business Development Manager on 01329 848130.
