Mayor Visits Mabway Training Facilities at Gosport
Mabway hosted a visit by the Mayor of Gosport “Councilor Roger Allen” as he embarks on a program of visits to local businesses. Councilor Allen was accompanied by Lynda Dine Head of the Economic Prosperity Section for Gosport Borough Council.
After meeting the Training Manager (Mr. Michael Cooke MBE) and Mr. Keith Austin (Business Development) The Mayor was introduced to Anne O’Reilly (Managing Director) and Mark O’Reilly (Operations Director) who gave a presentation on whole company capability as well as the specific technical facilities at Gosport.

After meeting the training designers and Instructors the Mayor was given a tour of Mabway training facilities which include both mechanical and electrical training units designed to deliver a range of theoretical and skills based training. He was impressed by the level of commitment to delivering training both locally and nationally and had many questions to ask the Managing Director about the training of young school leavers across a range of subjects and also skills based training delivery to local people.
