Launch of Gosport's new Town Centre Guide

A new guide has just been published showcasing Gosport Town centre. The guide is part of a wider initiative to support the retail sector in the Borough and highlights both High Street and the specialist shopping area of Stoke Road. The leaflet includes detailed maps of these two respective areas of the town centre, as well as information on parking, local attractions and travel opportunities.
The publication of the guide comes shortly after the successful Christmas festival. The festival saw increased footfall in the town as a result of a number of events, including a "Gosport’s Got Talent” competition and initiatives such as the “Golden Ticket” draw.
The Town Centre Guide will be distributed to all retailers in the Town Centre as well as the Tourist Information Centre, Discovery Centre and local pubs, restaurants and attractions.
It is hoped that the leaflet will become an indispensable guide not only for visitors to the town centre, but also local residents.
