Incentive to Create New Jobs - Apprenticeship news - Grant for £1,500 available to eligible employers

Employers of small businesses are entitled to a new grant of £1,500 for employing their first apprentice aged 16 to 24 from April 2012. The Apprenticeship Grant for Employers – know as AGE 16 to 24 – has been launched by the government as an incentive to small businesses to create new jobs for young people.
The National Apprenticeship Service can provide a grant to assist you in meeting those initial costs of taking on a young person aged 16 to 24 years old.
There are 40,000 Apprenticeship Grants for Employers available up to March 2013.
