Turn over a new leaf during Green Office Week
28/03/2010
Does your office do enough to help the environment? Do you consider yourself eco-friendly?
Over a third of office workers surveyed in January 2010 said although there is nothing stopping them helping the environment, they still don’t bother doing anything to be eco-friendly at work. However, many more told us that they would like to do more to tackle green issues in the office, but aren’t sure how to make a start.
Green Office Week aims to increase environmental awareness in the workplace, and provide practical help and advice about how to tackle the eco-issues we know you face. Green Office Week is designed to inspire you and equip you to make some important changes using easy to implement hints, tips and materials that Avery has developed with recognised green experts.
By taking part, not only will you be helping the environment but your organisation could benefit from having a more competitive edge with leaner, greener working practices.
Green Office Week will:-
- Encourage debate and interaction about green issues amongst colleagues
- Help you review purchasing habits in line with environmental targets
- Find ways to reduce waste and recycle more
- Devise an action plan for the future
- Celebrate the excellent achievements of those who are eco-friendly at work.
