Find out how global warming is affecting Gosport's seafront

09/02/2010

Take advantage of this opportunity to speak to an expert on global warming. Gloval warming brings rising warer levels and the possible risk of flooding. The North Solent Draft Management Plan puts forward proposals for the South coast from Lymington and Southampton Water right down past Hill Head, Lee on the Solent and Stokes Bay up through Portsmouth Harbour to Fareham and on to Selsey Bill.

So if you live near the Coast over this stretch of Hampshire this could affect you and your views are wanted. It's not just beach areas which could be affected as with rivers and water inlets this could mean it affects you.

A full list of exhibition venues is available on GBC website. Those who do live locally, please pop along to your local exhibition or tell your family and friends about it as they may wish to make their views known.

The exhibition is being held on the Mezzanine area of the Discovery Centre from 2pm to 7pm this coming Wednesday 10 February.  It will focus on Lee-on-the-Solent to Gilkicker Point to Port Solent.
