Film opportunity for local retailers

18/02/2010

Wall to Wall (www.walltowall.co.uk), one of the country's leading independent television production companies is making a new prime-time, living history series tracing the history of the High Street.

The producers, who are behind hit shows like Who Do You Think You Are? (for BBC ONE), Edwardian Country House (Channel 4) and New Tricks (BBC ONE) are aiming to profile the history of the British High Street.

They will be taking a parade of shops back 140 years before fast-forwarding them through six key eras of British history.  It's a fantastic project and a chance to show just how important small independent businesses and trades are to British culture.

The show’s producers are looking for brilliant shopkeepers to run these shops through the series. This opens up the possibility of the chosen shopkeeper’s local area being featured when we film the programmes in the summer.

If you are interested in being involved in this opportunity, contact Michael Fraser on 0207 241 9349 or email on michael.fraser@walltowall.co.uk.
