Economic Potential- Business Celebration Award Winners

The Economic Potential Award was aimed at new businesses and those established over the last ten years. Judges were looking for those who had: - shown creativity and innovation; had potential for growth; were strong on customer service; and showed commitment to the Gosport economy.
Established in Gosport about 7 years ago, PRS Machining produces high quality machined parts for a range of customers in the marine, aerospace, energy and offshore oil and gas markets. The business has steadily grown, acquired new premises and invested in machinery to support its bespoke services for a range of high profile clients. The skills and experience of the companies’ management and staff can only enhance Gosport's reputation as a location for high quality engineering services.
Pimp my Cake, which has been trading for just over a year, was initially set up to provide a bespoke cake making and decorating service. With an already established reputation for unique quality product, the company has, over the last six months, broadened its services to provide classes which are attracting new and regular students from far afield.
