Gosport gift shop scoops prize for best Christmas window!

Gift shop, Bizzie Bees, has scooped the prize for the Best Dressed Window in Gosport. The competition, which formed part of Gosport’s Christmas Festival, encouraged retailers to showcase their merchandising skills and dress their window on a festive theme. Over 50 retailers from across the Borough agreed to participate.
The gift shop, located in North Cross Street, faced tough competition from other retailers but won because of its unique and attractive display. The judges were particular impressed by how the proprietors Lisa Williams and her mother Janet Clark had cleverly showcased their gift packs and other products on a Christmas theme. Lisa says: “I am delighted to win this prize. We were keen to stick to a traditional theme and are delighted that our efforts have been recognised. Winning this prize makes all our efforts worthwhile.”
The runners-up were the Lee Florist in the High Street, Lee on Solent and the Village Fish Bar in Alverstoke.
