Ask the expert event - huge success

“Helpful, informative and interesting” was one of the comments made by a delegate at the last Business Forum which focused on the theme of “Ask the Expert”. The event held on Monday 26th April at the Alverbank Hotel was organised by Gosport Borough Council in conjunction with business support agency, Enterprise First.
The event provided an opportunity for local delegates to talk to professional experts about some of the key issues affecting their business. There was also the opportunity to meet, network and share ideas with other local businesses over refreshments.
The experts include representatives from Enterprise First (Start Up & Business Advice), Council services (Gosport Borough Council), Rothmans Pantall (Accountancy/Taxation), Lloyds TSB (Banking) and Glanvilles LLP (Employment Law) as well as local companies Media3 (PR/Marketing), and Alniro Ltd (Website Design).
Each expert hosted a discussion on their specialist subject and endeavoured to answer any questions in an easy to follow style. The experts then moved around to other tables so that all the delegates had the opportunity to talk to all of the experts.
Quarterly meetings of the Gosport Business Forum provide an invaluable opportunity for businesses to express their views and contribute to the work of the Council; as well as providing an excellent networking opportunity.
