Lead Environmental Auditor training

Following the success of the recent Lead Environmental Auditor training held in Winchester. The SBP are happy to offer a second course to be held the week commencing October 4th in Havant.
The course consists of 5 training days, at the end of it candidates will be able to:
· Describe the purpose of an environmental management system.
· Explain the scope EMS standards and, where applicable, other criteria against which an EMS audit could be performed.
· Describe the principles, processes and techniques used for the assessment of risk and the significance of these in all environmental management systems.
· Interpret the requirements of the ISO 14001 management systems specification in the context of an audit .
· Effectively plan and conduct an audit of the management and operation of an organisation in accordance with the requirements of relevant EMS audit criteria and ISO 19011 .
· Report the audit, including writing valid, factual and value-adding nonconformity reports.
· Undertake audit follow-up activities, including evaluating the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action.
This course is being offered at a significant discount for SBP members, the final cost will be £945 per delegate ( compared to approximately £1200 if the training was gained privately) This includes all materials and catering for the week. When you bear in mind the majority of these courses are held in London, a local venue will also significantly save on commuting costs.
